It also analyses the multiple factors which may affect the behavior of test specimens inside the fire resistance furnaces and highlights differences between several test methods. Separate attention is drawn to reaction to fire where some fire tests relevant to the interior finishing are presented. Additionally, an explanation is given of a concept of heat release rate measurement as modern and very useful technique to assess the propensity to flashover of interior wall and ceiling linings.
